Dear AK Wigg Parents/Guardians & Families,

Welcome back to the 2018-19 school year at A. K. Wigg!  Let me begin by telling you how excited I am to begin a new school year full of rigorous instruction, engaged students and joyful learning! We look forward to working with everyone in our school community to provide our students with outstanding educational and extracurricular programs.  Your children are in excellent hands and we are so fortunate to have such a strong, dedicated school community here. Educating children at A.K. Wigg is a team effort.  We look forward to working with families in order to achieve positive results.  Thank-you for your support and co-operation in helping make our school such a successful, collaborative place where our children are always striving to achieve.

The entire staff at A.K. Wigg is an energetic group that works hard to support each child’s academic achievement and well-being. We encourage our students to become actively involved in the school’s diverse curricular and extra-curricular programs.  We will continue to celebrate student success in a variety of ways including recognition assemblies, newsletters, our school website, through Twitter feeds,  morning announcements, and local media.

This is your school.  Please feel welcome to share your ideas and suggestions.
You matter to us and are valued members of the A.K. Wigg community.

Ms. M. Zwolak (Principal)
